Nectar of Life

I have confession to make.  I'm an addict.  A coffee addict.  I (seriously) joke that it is the nectar of my life.  I can't live without it, and I don't ever intend to give it up.  It is one of my daily motivations to get out of bed.  My coffee pot is set on a timer, and it starts the minute my alarm goes off.  Some of favorite moments with friends, with family and with the Lord are had over a cup (or two) of coffee.  One of my dreams is to run a coffee shop.  I love the stuff, and I cannot function without it.

Lately on Pinterest, I have been finding lots of funny and truthful sayings about coffee that completely apply to my life and to my love of that fabulous, delicious stuff.  I thought I'd share some of my favorites.

I don't mind if I do...

  1. Coffee addiction is so foreign to me, because I can barely stand the taste! Besides a latte at Starbucks every now and then, I never drink it. I feel like I'm missing out on something amazing though. Please tell me... how can I too become a coffee drinker? :)

  2. Cassidy! My grandparents were the ones that started me on it when I would spend the nights with them as a child. They would always both have a cup at breakfast, and so I wanted one. We made "coffee milk"...a little bit of coffee, mostly milk and sugar. It grew from there! When I was in high school, I asked my parents to make a cup for me every morning and began drinking it more then. But, it wasn't until college that I began to really drink it everyday, multiple times a day. I can't give it up!
